Hello, and welcome to my online studio! My name is Donna Harcourt
and I am acrylic and watercolor artist. I am so excited that you are
interested in learning how to paint, and that I can share my knowledge
and experiences with you. I have always loved to do all kinds of crafts,
but my passion is really painting. I have been painting and teaching
since 2000. Presently, I am teaching classes in my home studio, and
three different Assisted Living Facilities. I also started and run an
after school Art Program for children, ages ranging from 9-11 and a
High School Home School. I received my One Stroke certification in
July 2004. I have continued my education and training with well
known artists such as Donna Dewberry (the inventor of One Stroke
technique), Priscilla Houser, Ann Kingsland, and Cheri Rohl, Dorthy
Dent, Mark Polmochek, Mary Spires, etc. I am currently a monthly
designer for Tole Town ezine and you can see this online magazine at
toletown.com. I am a "Helping Artist" with Decoart and design for
their online project line. My goals are to continue to learn as much as
I can about all styles of painting. I am a member of the Society of
Decorative Painting, and Indy Decorative Artist, where I am active as
the webmaster, and 3rd Vice President. My hope is that you will enjoy

One Stroke painting is a unique form of decorative painting
